CRISFIELD, Md. - After what's been a pretty tough year, things are looking up for Crisfield. The town will be featured on reality show "The Choir," which is in it's last week of filming.
WMDT spoke with the Crisfield Chamber of commerce, and it sounds like, in true Hollywood fashion, some of the hardships after sandy just might've given the town a leg up.
"After sandy hit, I called them and I told them what had happened to us and I told them I don't know of this is going to a hurt us or help us, I said but the hurricane hit Crisfield really hard and they were very sorry and sympathetic they said, but at the same time, that my help us get it. An it did," said Valerie Howard of the Crisfield Chamber of Commerce, "so for something this big to come to Crisfield is just absolutely amazing. Everybody is so excited."
Filming wraps up this week with a final performance this Sunday at the Marva Theatre in Pocomoke. The show starts at 5:00 PM and is free of charge.
