SALISBURY, Md. - A housekeeper is accused of stealing jewelry from a Salisbury home where she was working. According to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, Alice Pryor 52, of Parsonsburg, was employed as a housekeeper at a home on Nanticoke Road in Salisbury.

The victim reportedly told police that she confronted Pryor about the stolen jewelry, and she went back to the house to help the victim look for it. Police say that while they were looking for it, Pryor allegedly found it all in a plastic baggie behind a dresser. The baggie reportedly did not belong to the victim, and also had extra jewelry in it that didn't belong to her.

Police say that the stolen jewelry is valued at more than $4,000. Pryor was arrested, and charged with theft $1,000 to $10,0000. She is being held at the Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
