Downtown Revitalization In Snow Hill Picking Up

Posted: Updated:

SNOW HILL, Md. - It appears the revitalization of downtown Snow Hill is picking up.

Miss Patti Cake's bakery tells us business has been doing really well since they opened up shop back in October - they've been seeing a constant steady flow of foot traffic and hope it will attract even more businesses to open.

We're told three more shops have opened since the fall. People are really starting to see that Snow Hill is going to become the hub. Berlin's revitalized, Pocomoke's revitalized, and it's time for Snow Hill. I'd like to see every store full. And then other than Friday and Saturday nights, I'd like to see somebody in this town walking the streets everyday, all night long. We're getting there piece by piece, as long as we keep filling buildings," Mayor Charlie Dorman said.

The town of Snow Hill is offering business incentives such as low interest loans. If you're interested in opening a business, call the Mayor's office at 410-632-2080 .
