SALISBURY, Md. - A house fire is under investigation in Salisbury, after it caused more than $100,000 in damages.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal says that the fire started around 7:15 PM, on Monday evening on the back enclosed porch of a single story home, on Springfield Circle. It took 30 firefighters around 45 minutes to get the fire under control.
Officials say that there were smoke detectors in the home, but they didn't have any batteries. Luckily, no one was injured during the blaze. The occupant reportedly found the fire.
