EASTON Md. - Police in Easton are sending a reminder to
everyone headed out into the elements.
Police say motorists are advised to have a well charged cell phone
with them as well as proper clothing to sustain time outside in case of
emergency. Also, officials say items as simple as a blanket and a flashlight could
make a difference.
Officials recommend to minimize exposed skin to these severe wind
chills as skin can be affected rapidly.
Police also want to remind those with pets outside should make arrangements for indoor shelter
whenever possible.
