DOVER, Del. - Dover Police stopped what appeared to be an armed robbery in progress on Sunday. They say that a K-9 officer was downtown, when he heard someone screaming. As the officer drove towards the sound they found a person being chased by two suspects on South Governors Avenue. The suspects apparently saw the officer, and fled into a waiting vehicle.

The officer reportedly chased the vehicle onto S. New Street, where it pulled over. Police took three suspects into custody, along with a small caliber handgun and three bandanas.

An investigation showed that two of the suspects used the bandanas to cover their faces, while they demanded money from the victim while holding the handgun. The third reportedly waited in the vehicle to drive them from the scene. Police say the victim ran when he saw the police car.

Delvon Henry, 20, of Chestertown, MD and David Somerville, 20, of Millington, MD are being held at JVCC on $20,400 bond, the third suspect, Tyrone Sisco, 20, of Chestertown, MD, was released after posting his bond.
