Locals Speak On Sports Rituals

Posted: Updated:

WMDT 47 NEWS - Some residents may do a certain ritual while watching the Ravens-Patriots game.

Before they vie for a chance at the Super Bowl, WMDT spoke with locals about their superstitions to help their favorite team win a game. While some folks have rituals we may have heard of before, others we spoke to were a little bit more unique.

"[I wear a] Ray Lewis jersey and a Baltimore Ravens, like a purple and gold necklace," said Andy Davis.

"Right at halftime, I just eat a bowl of ice cream," said Vincent Stoudmire. "I stir it up, let it get real soft and creamy and that takes me through the third and fourth quarter."

Kickoff for the game is set for 6:30 p.m.
