
SALISBURY, Md. - The Mayor's office says Salisbury is ready for the snow. Below, you will find a list of the steps Public Works has taken to prepare for any hazardous conditions coming our way:
· Trucks have been equipped with snow plows and salt bodies
· Snow routes and plans have been reviewed
· 200 tons of salt is being delivered
· Catch basins are being checked for any debris issues
· Preventative maintenance on generators, chain saws and other storm related equipment is complete
· A review of staffing and job responsibilities is complete
· Additional staffing for the wastewater and water plants is complete
· All equipment is fueled
· Snow plow operators and operations supervisors will monitor roads, bridges, hills and sidewalks
· Salting and plowing will occur based on the needs of the event
