SEAFORD - Last year, one bowl of chili at Harley-Davidson of Seaford helped spark nearly $1,000,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Also, the Ladies of Harley will be collecting donations for our four-legged friends during the MDA Chili Cookoff Jan.26 at Harley-Davidson of Seaford.
Ignite that spark again for 2013 at the MDA Chili Cookoff, set for Jan. 26 at Harley-Davidson of Seaford.
You are welcome to come join the fun from 11 to 2 p.m., and with a $5 suggested donation, you can help pick the winner. Your $5 donation will earn you a bowl, spoon and a pack of crackers to test as many as you can. It also, of course, gets you a ballot where you can vote for the winning chili.
The donation and chili cookoff is part of a year-long effort by Harley-Davidson of Seaford and it's loyal customers leading to Ride For Life, an event of the Eastern Harley-Davidson Dealers Association that raised $947,986 for MDA in May 2012.
If you think you have award-winning chili, contact Ashley at Harley-Davidson of Seaford by Jan. 23 and you can enter the contest.
