DOVER, Del. (AP) - Gov. Jack Markell is ready to outline his vision for Delaware over the coming year as he begins his second term in office.
Markell is to deliver his State of the State speech Thursday to a joint session of the General Assembly.
One topic Markell will touch on is his previously stated belief that Delaware needs to do more to ensure that people suffering from mental health issues, particularly children, get the help they need.
Markell also is expected to expand on gun control proposals he announced earlier this week by addressing related issues involving mental health and school safety.
