MILLSBORO, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have charged a man with numerous traffic offenses after they say he fled from a traffic stop and led officers on a short chase.
It happened about 9:10 p.m. Monday on John J. Williams Highway in Millsboro. Troopers say a vehicle was speeding and officers tried to pull the vehicle over.
Police say the vehicle drove away, failed to stop at a stop sign and slid into a ditch.
The driver, 27-year-old Michael Denney of Millsboro, has been charged with multiple traffic offenses. He is being held on $4,550 secured bail.
