Rehoboth Beach Rotary Hosts Annual Championship Sunday Event

Posted: Updated:

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - The Rehoboth Beach Sunrise Rotary Club is gearing up for it's 10th annual Championship Sunday this weekend.

It's one of the biggest tailgates you'll ever see.  It's held at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center to watch the NFL division championship games.

As the club's primary fundraiser for the year, you can cheer your favorite team, and help out a good cause at the same time. The funds will support a number of the club's community efforts and some national events as well.

"Oh it's quite a festive day, everyone's in their everyone is in their jerseys, cheering their team on having a really great time," said event chair Donna Winegar.

There will be plenty of food and beverages, a silent auction a raffle and cheers for the Baltimore Ravens.

It all kicks off at 2 p.m., and tickets are available at ATI Physical Therapy in Rehoboth Beach, and they will be sold at the door. Adults are $20, children 6-12 are $5, and children under 5 are free.
