UPDATE: Salisbury Shooting Apparently Self-Inflicted

SALISBURY, Md. - Police are saying that a reported Salisbury shooting that locked down four area schools, was apparently self-inflicted.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says the received a call around 8:30 AM, on Monday, that a man had been shot on the corner of Rose Street and East Road. When the Sheriff's Office arrived on scene, with the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation, they found De'quan Bratten, 20, of Salisbury, with two gun shot wounds.

He was taken to PRMC for treatment. WBI says that their investigation showed that the apparent victim, had shot himself twice. The case remains open and charges are still pending. Schools in the area that were locked-down, have since reopened.
