Youth Baseball Team Donates To Troops Overseas

SUSSEX CO., Del. - A local travel baseball team raised thousands of dollars worth of items for troops overseas.

Bagel Bombers Baseball, a local travel baseball organization, along with the team parents, coaches, and team sponsor, Surf Bagel in Lewes collected over $3,000 of items to be shipped to the troops in care packages from Operation We Care.  

Operation We Care says the team's 40 care packages will be shipped out next month and an addition 400-500 packages in May.
