SALISBURY, Md. - Now to the trial of a Salisbury man, charged with his second sex allegation.
WMDT learned Thursday that the judge declared a mistrial, in the case of former Wi-Hi football coach David Nettles, due to a hung jury.
The victim, who is the second person to go public with allegations, was 17 at the time and a former Wi-Hi student. During testimony, he said Nettles gave him deep tissue massages and touched his genitals.
Four moths ago, Nettles was acquitted of third degree sex offense after both he and a different victim testified about the alleged assault in 2007. The state is free to file charges again.
