SNOW HILL, Md., - Ethel Leona Newell, 86, of Snow Hill formerly of Delmar, DE, died on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Born Tuesday, June 15, 1926 in Salisbury, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late William O. Wilkerson and the late Nora Parsons Wilkerson. She was the wife of the late Ernest Newell. She attended the Trinity Bible Church in Salisbury.

Surviving are five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sons, Wayne P. Patterson and Charles W. Patterson, four sisters and one brother.

A graveside funeral service will be held, Friday, January 11 at 3:00 PM in the Pittsville Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 107 Vine Street, Pocomoke City, MD 21851. Online condolences may be made to the family at Holloway Funeral Home's website.
