UPDATE: Route 13 Crash In Westover

WESTOVER, Md. - A horrific scene at a two-vehicle crash in Westover Thursday morning.

The Somerset County Sheriff's Office tells us they were called to Southbound Rt. 13 at the intersection of Sam Barnes road just after 8 AM. They say a box truck attempted to cross over the highway and struck a single passenger vehicle. The driver of that vehicle was flown by medevac to Shock Trauma and is listed in critical condition. The passenger in the vehicle is listed in stable condition at PRMC.

Authorities say no one in the box truck was injured. The accident is still under investigation.

***Initial reports were that the accident happened in Princess Anne, authorities did inform us it was in Westover.
