GOOD MORNING DELMARVA -- The Possum Point Players production of the comedy, The Psychic, by Sam Brobrick, opens on Friday, January 25, 2013.

The Psychic, directed by Patrick Erhardt of Seaford, is being performed on January 25, 26, February 1, and 2, 2013, at 8 PM and on January 27 and February 3, 2013, at 2 PM at Possum Hall in Georgetown, DE. Tickets are $18 for adults, $17 for students and seniors. Tickets are on sale online at www.possumpointplayers.org and also by phone at 302-856-4560

In the show, Adam Webster (played by Steven Dow, of Milford), a down-on-his-luck writer, puts a sign in his apartment window, in desperation to make the rent: "Psychic Readings $25." The sign soon draws the interest of the lovely and conflicted Laura Benson (played by Judy Venturini, of Lewes), her shady husband, Roy (played by John Zinzi, of Harrington), Roy's mistress, Rita Malone (played by Kim Klabe, of Rehoboth Beach), a gangster named Johnny Bubbles (played by Sam Vasquez, of Bridgeville), and ace Detective Norris Coslow (played by Jim Killion, of Lewes). In the surprising twists that follow, The Psychic entangles Adam in a hilarious murder mystery.

The Psychic is being produced through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

Possum Point Players is supported, in part, by grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
