Fernando Guerrero To Fight In New York City

SALISBURY, Md. - Local boxer Fernando Guerrero is gearing up for a fight in the big apple."It's a big fight.  It's actually the fight that every fighter waits for," says his brother Carmelo Guerrero.

On February 9, 2012, Fernando will duke it out against Peter Quillin for a World Boxing Organization middleweight World Title, and his brother, Carmelo, is trying to boost local support.  He has a bus going to the fight at the brand new Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Carmelo says "Salisbury is our hometown.  They've shown the love since the beginning...now it's time to head out to New York and show that a small town like this can make it up in the big town."
