FEMA Aid Available For Insured Residents

WMDT 47 NEWS - An important reminder from FEMA for insured residents.

If your home or business was ravaged by Superstorm Sandy, and your insurance didn't quite cover all the costs, you may be eligible for assistance.

To register or for more information call 1-800-621-FEMA.

FEMA is also making it easier for Somerset county residents to apply for disaster relief using a smartphone app.

Just download the free FEMA app and click on the tab that says "Are You A Disaster Survivor".

You can also visit M.FEMA.gov and follow the link to apply online for federal assistance. The deadline to apply is just about five weeks away on February 12th.
