SALISBURY, Md. - Jeeta Belle Overstreet Cameron, 81, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Anchorage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Princeton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Paul Edward Overstreet and Thelma Estelle Hawley Overstreet. She worked as an assistant manager in food service for the Senate Dining Room in Washington DC for 20 years, retiring in 1989. She was very devoted to her grandchildren and was a die-hard Washington Redskins fan.
She is survived by a daughter, Janice L. Marlin Wilber and her husband, Alan of Salisbury; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer E. Kenney and her husband, Ryan of Mardela Springs and Susan V. Wilber of Salisbury; a niece, Gail Paterini and her husband, Jim of Anchorage, AK; and close friends, Buck and Juanita Parker of Salisbury.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Overstreet and a life long childhood friend, Joan Alsop. Following cremation, there are no formal services scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Fairmont Volunteer Fire Department, 27407 Fairmont Rd, Fairmont, MD 21867.
