Salisbury Man Charged With Arson

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man has been charged in connection with a fire on the 1100 block of South Division Street back in December.

The blaze broke out at 20 by 20 metal framed commercial outbuilding and caused an estimated $1,500 dollars in damages.  Police say Donald Walker Jr. was responsible for igniting the fire, and was taken into custody on Thursday.

Walker is charged with Second Degree Arson, Malicious Destruction of Property, Malicious Burning Second Degree, Burglary Second Degree, and Burglary Fourth Degree. If convicted, he faces up to 42 years behind bars and/or $33,000 dollars in fines.
