Keenan Victor
SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man, charged in a gang-related murder was sentenced to life in prison. A judge handed down the sentence Thursday to 29-year-old Demarr Jones, for the murder of Arnold Fagans Junior. Fagans was gunned down at the West Road apartments last January.
In November, the jury found him "guilty of conspiracy to commit murder" and "conspiracy of 1st degree assault". During testimony, he was called the organizer and ring leader of the group, not to mention a high ranking gang member in the BGF gang.
In court, family members of the victim called the crime unforgivable saying their family will forever be broken.
"He is what I believe him to be, a very cold-hearted person that has no remorse. He still did not admit guilt, and he still did not accept responsibility," said Wicomico County State's Attorney Matt Maciarello.
