Delaware Starts '31 Days to a Healthier You' Campaign

Posted: Updated:

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware Gov. Jack Markell and other state officials will be at the YMCA in Wilmington to publicize the state's "31 Days to a Healthier You" campaign.

The Department of Health and Social Services is behind the campaign, which will spend the month of January offering tips for healthy living on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites.

On Twitter, the campaign will use the hashtag "healthDE," and on Facebook residents are being asked to share photos that answer the question: "What does 'healthy' look like?"

The idea is to help Delaware residents build healthy habits by starting with small ideas.
