Evelyn Elizabeth "Betty" Warren

MILLSBORO, Del. - Evelyn Elizabeth "Betty" Warren, 87, of Millsboro passed away on December 25th, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. Born on April 29, 1925 in Salisbury, MD – she was the daughter of the late Francis and Carolyn Davis Donaway. She was a graduate of Millsboro High School, and she attended of Grace United Methodist Church in Millsboro.  She married her late husband, Ralph in 1962. Together with her role  as a homemaker,  they spent 42 wonderful years together, and he preceded her in 2004.  She loved gardening and sewing, and she was dedicated to her family.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded by her brother: Morton Donaway, and her sister: Ruth Donaway. She is survived by her daughters: Tina McIntosh, and husband John, of Gaithersburg, MD; and Tara Eggers, and husband, John of Eldersburg, MD and one grandchild: Jake Eggers.

A viewing and calling hours for visitation will be held from 5 PM till 7 PM on the evening of Thursday, January 3rd, 2013 at the Watson Funeral Home; 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966. On Friday, January 4th, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Robert Hudson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service for visitation.  Interment follows at Millsboro Cemetery.
