Wicomico Police Department To Get Upgrade In Vehicles

WICOMICO CO., Md - Wicomico County Police will be getting new vehicles to patrol the streets.

Sheriff Mike Lewis says that the new vehicles were purchased with seized drug funds.Many of the vehicles included Chevrolet Tahoes with patrol rifles, shotguns and printers as well as Dodge Chargers.

Sheriff Mike Lewis also stated that the older vehicles were too costly to maintain, especially with the engine and transmissions damages that needed to be repaired.
