Police Find 59 Pounds Of Suspected Marijuana, 2 Arrested

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Two people are behind bars, after a large drug bust in Dorchester County. Cambridge Police say that their Criminal Investigation Division and Emergency Response Team searched two homes, one on Oakley Street and one on Wood Duck Drive.

During these searches Police say they found a total of 59 pounds of suspected marijuana, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, two bullet proof vests, and more than $8,000 in cash.

Police arrested Robert Kelley, 34, and Racquel Young, 27, both of the Wood Duck Drive address. Kelley and Young were charged with possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, possession of marijuana - large amount, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, use of a firearm during a felony, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

Both are being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center, Kelley on $500,000 and Young on $200,000 bonds.
