PITTSVILLE, Md. - Levin Daniel Layton, 50, of Pittsville, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Jack Ray Layton of Salisbury and Betty Jean Moore Morton and her husband, Tom of Parsonsburg. He worked as a production worker for Blind Industries. He was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved fishing and hunting, and spending time with his children.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Wanda Lynn Hearn Layton; 2 sons, Kevin Daniel Layton of Pittsville and Joel Ryan Layton and his wife, Amy of Salisbury; a grandson, Kolyn Ryan Layton; a sister, Sandy J. Wolf and her husband, Joe of Laurel; an aunt, Irene Elizabeth Moore and her companion Bill Nock of Salisbury; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury with Rev. Howard Travers officiating. Contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
