39th Fire Reported in Accomack Co.

ACCOMACK CO., Va. -- Another arson was reported in Accomack County tonight, bringing the total to 39 in a string of alleged arsons since November 13th.        

Just before 6 p.m., a barn was on fire in the 26000 block of Nelsonia Road.  This follows a fire reported late Saturday night on Parksley Road.

According to officials the alleged arsonist will face more than 10 years in prison and a $100,000 fine for each structure set ablaze. A $5,000 reward is still being offered for information leading to an arrest in this case.
