Man Leaves Daughter, Marijuana in Police Stop

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. -- A shocking arrest in Delaware  today, where a Seaford man allegedly abandoned his car - with his daughter inside.

According to reports, Harrell Richards was stopped on Coverdale Road in Bridgeville for having an illegal tint on his car. Police say he took off, throwing a bag under the car, which police retrieved containing four grams of marijuana.

Police eventually caught Richards, who faces several charges, including marijuana possession.

His 4-year-old-daughter was turned over to a grandparent on the scene.
