DORCHESTER COUNTY, Md. -- Officials from the Maryland State Fire Marshall and the Cambridge Police Department have ruled last week's apartment fire an arson.

The blaze took nearly 100 firefighters from 13 fire companies nearly two hours to extinguish.

There were 21 victims who were treated from non-life threatening injuries when they jumped from the second and third floors to safety.

The building contained a clothing store on the first floor and a total of eight apartments on two floors above. It's considered a complete loss.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Lower Eastern Shore Regional Office of the State Fire Marshall at 410-713-3783.
