MD Unemployment Rate Drops To 6.6 Percent

WMDT 47 NEWS - Some good news on the job front in Maryland.     

The unemployment rate dropped slightly to 6.6 percent.  Despite a disappointing month, Maryland has made tremendous progress this year, with total job growth up 16,000. 

The private sector is leading the way, creating just over 22,000 new jobs.
