Ivan Daley, 39, of Bridgeville
BRIDGEVILLE, Del. - A Bridgeville man is charged with counterfeiting merchandise. Delaware Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement say that in August, they investigated the M & M Stop in Bridgeville for the sale of illegal drugs.
During the search of the store, agents found more than 50 counterfeit items for sale, including handbags, hats, and belts. They say that items show trademarks of Prada, Louis Vuitton, Coach, and Gucci. They were all seized during the search.
The DATE investigation into those items, showed that Ivan Daley, 39, was selling the items in the store, with the permission of the store owner. The total value of the seized items, after being examined by a corporate representative, were valued at $18,900.
Daley turned himself in on December 20th. He was arrested, and charged with trademark counterfeiting and was released on $15,000 bail.
