DOVER, Del. - Police are looking into an incident where several gun shots were apparently fired into two mobile homes, and a car. Delaware State Police say around 1:15 AM on Thursday, residents of lots B4 and B5 in the Lakeland Mobile Home Park called to say they were woken up by gunfire outside.
Troopers say they investigated to find several bullet holes in a car parked outside, and a few more in the sides of the homes on B4 and B5. Officials say that none got into the area where the residents were sleeping. None of the six adults or eight children, between the two homes, were injured in the incident.
Police are still investigating, and are asking anyone with information to contact Troop 3 at 302-697-4454, text DSP to CRIMES (274637), or at www.tipsubmit.com.
