
SEAFORD, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a Maryland has died of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Seaford.
Troopers say 81-year-old Mable M. Lake of Hurlock, Md., died Tuesday at Christiana Medical Center. She had been flown there after the Dec. 12 accident.
Police say Lake was a passenger in a car driven by 51-year-old Sherlmaine L. Jenkins of Cambridge, Md. Authorities say Jenkins was traveling north on Sussex Highway when she struck the rear of a car that had slowed for traffic.
Jenkins was treated and released after the crash. The other driver was not hurt.
The accident is under investigation.
