Hurricane Sandy Town Meeting To Be Held In Crisfield

CRISFIELD, Md. - Local officials are hosting a town all meeting about Hurricane Sandy. The Mayor and City Council of Crisfield, along with the Somerset County Commissioners, are hosting a community town hall meeting for any person or business that was affected by Hurricane Sandy. The meeting will take place on Thursday, December 20th at 6:30 PM, at Crisfield High School.

Representatives from the following agencies and organizations will be present:

Federal Emergency Management Administration
Maryland Insurance Administration
Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development
Small Business Administration
Department of Business and Economic Development
Department of Social Services
Somerset County Emergency Services
Health Department
ShoreUp!
Life Crisis Center
Catholic Charities
Somerset County Long Term Recovery Committee

General questions will be answered during the meeting. The goal is to get residents the information that they need and the resources that are available to them.
