OCEAN CITY, Md. - A DUI traffic stop leads police to recover three guns. Ocean City Police stopped Scot Randolf, 43, of Ocean City, after getting a call about a drunk driver, with firearms in the car.
Police stopped Randolf's vehicle where they say they found two handguns, a shotgun, and ammunition for the passenger side. The weapons were not loaded. Police say they also found drug paraphernalia with suspected marijuana residue. Randolf was arrested and charged with possession of handgun in a vehicle, possession of a handgun on person, possession of a controlled dangerous substance - marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
During the investigation, police gave Randolf an breath alcohol test, which reportedly showed that he had a blood alcohol over three times the legal limit. He was additionally charged with drunk driving related offences. He was later released.
