Shooting Plan Rumors In Sussex County, Were Just That

SUSSEX CO., Del. - Some information to clear up for parents. There were reports of an apparent shooting plan uncovered last week at Sussex Central High School.

However, WMDT spoke with administrators who tell us that this wasn't exactly the case. We're told what happened was that rumors started early last week.

Upon investigation school officials determined that there was no merit behind those rumors and that students and parents should not be alarmed.

An automated voice message was sent to parents Thursday night to reassure that there was no problem.
