MILFORD, Del. - A teenager has been arrested after allegedly bringing a loaded shotgun to school.

Milford Police say that the Milford Senior High School School Resource Police Officer heard that a 16-year-old student had a loaded shotgun in his car. A search of the student's car, that was parked in the school parking lot, reportedly revealed the loaded 20 gauge shotgun, along with additional ammunition.

Police charged the teenager with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of a firearm in a safe school zone, and unlawfully loaded shotgun. He was later released to the custody of his parents on $20,100 bond, with mandatory electric monitoring and a mental evaluation.
