Dagsboro Teacher Awarded For Making A Difference

DAGSBORO, Del. -- An early start is key to a great education, and a great teacher is equally as important.

Friday morning, Ms. Trisha Tryon was named WMDT and Accurate Optical "Teacher Who Makes a Difference."

Ms. Tryon works with pre-school age children at Kidz Academy in Dagsboro, and says the key to being a great teacher is encouraging individuality, and making learning fun.

"When I was growing up I didn't like school, didn't like going it wasn't that fun. But to me the kids can learn anything you teach them and I think it can all be done in a fun way," She tells us.
