Senator Carper To Visit Kent County

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware's senior U.S. Senator is making the rounds of Kent County.
 
Sen. Tom Carper planned to begin his tour Friday with a visit to the Central Dover YMCA in Dover, which recently completed an expansion that includes a full basketball court, indoor gymnasium and additional parking space.
 
Carper then heads to the Wal-Mart in Cheswold to join volunteers ringing the Salvation Army bell.
 
After lunch at the new Odd Fellows Café in Smyrna, Carper planned to visit Clayton Intermediate School. The school, which opened in August for fifth and sixth grades, features a solar energy system.
