Sen. Carper Launches Fiscal Cliff Website

WMDT 47 NEWS - For those that still don't understand the fiscal cliff, one local senator breaks it down.

Delaware Sen. Tom Carper launched a new website to help Delawareans understand the ins-and-outs of the fiscal cliff, including information on the combination of tax increases and spending cuts.    

The Senator tells WMDT why he decided now to put this website together.

"We hear a lot about the fiscal cliff almost every waking moment," said Sen. Carper (D).  "What I hope is a direct and honest question and answer about what has happened to lead us to the fiscal cliff, what is likely to happen to our economy if we go over and how we can possibly avoid doing."
