Wicomico Library Extending Hours And Lowering Fees

SALISBURY, Md. - The new year will bring on some changes for the Wicomico Public Library.

Beginning January 2nd, the Main Library will open two hours earlier on Tuesdays and Thursdays, making the hours 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM. On Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, it will be open until 5:00 PM. Hours will not change at the other locations.

The Library will also launch a brand new website, but the address will remain the same. Officials say that they will be offering new services, like a fax service, and reduced fees, including eliminating the fee for not picking up a held item.

The Library is encouraging members to stop by to check out the new changes.
