SALISBURY, Md. - Here's an opportunity for you to brings some holiday cheer to some underprivileged children in our area - The Greene Turtle in Salisbury is holding their 7th annual "Tips for Tots" fundraiser today.

Servers and bartenders will combine the tips they take in throughout the day and then hit the stores to purchase gifts for "Toys for Tots." Last year, we're told they made over $2,000.

"It feels good because money is tight right now - the economy's not so good, but when people here - when you go up to a table and the first thing you say, 'Have you heard about our charity event. Every dollar I'm making tonight is going to the kids.' I think they feel more - not obligated, but they want more to help you," trainer Sarah Nikolich said.

They're also auctioning off 5 of their mugs tonight - all the money raised from bids will go towards the program, as well.
