SNOW HILL, Md. - Iva Jane Marshall Justice, 65, of Snow Hill, died Friday, December 7, 2012, in a motor vehicle accident in Snow Hill. Born on December 10, 1946 in Salisbury, she was the only child of the late James Iven Marshall and Cornelia Hurley Marshall. She received her nursing certification from Nassawadox Hospital in 1966 and devoted her life to a career of nursing. Iva Jane retired in 2010 from Hartley Hall Nursing and Rehab in Pocomoke City, but being devoted to her coworkers and patients at Hartley Hall, she continued working part-time. Her hobbies included, crochetting, quilting, reading, shopping on QVC and watching WVU football. Her all time favorite past time was eating steamed crabs with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Hillary James Justice, Snow Hill; three daughters, Laura Wallace (Michael), Lewis, DE, Tami Bennette (Daniel) Annapolis, MD and Jennifer Aeschbacker (Thomas), Willis, MI; one step-son, Brian Justice (Christina), Greenbackville, VA; four grandchildren, Ashley Lee, Hunter Aeschbacker, Violet Bennette and Logan Aeschbacker, one great grandson, Jesse James Lee and her rescued "mutt dog", Sandy and host of extended family members especially her "sisters" in nursing and her many patients she loved and cared for.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 12, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Snow Hill Vol. Fire Dept., 4718 Snow Hill Road, Snow Hill, MD 21863 or to the Humane Society of Wicomico County, 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804.
