BRIDGEVILLE, Del. - Jackson Raymond Lynn, 91, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away on Thursday, December 5th, 2012 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. Born in Washington DC, he was the son of the late Fielder Jackson Lynn and Bertha May Padgett Lynn. He was a US Navy, US Army and Merchant Marine veteran and also worked for 34 years as the Regional Director of the Internal Revenue Service in Salisbury, retiring in 1976.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey M. Lynn of Bridgeville; a daughter, Deborah L. Williams and her husband, Thomas of Salisbury; a foster son, George W. Brittingham and his wife, Pat of Mardela Springs; 3 grandchildren, Corina D. Beatty and her husband, Jim of Bridgeville, Angela Edson and Billy Jack Williams and his wife, Natasha; 3 foster grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lee Lacey Lynn and a brother, Donald Mason Lynn. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 11th, 2012 at 9:30am at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Salisbury with Rev. Kevin Wackett officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00pm in the chapel at the Eastern Shore Maryland Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock.
