SALISBURY, Md. — The cardiologists at Delmarva Heart LLC are in the business of diagnosing and treating heart disease. However, this holiday season, the doctors and staff of Delmarva Heart are giving a gift from their hearts with a $800 donation to help sustain the mission of Home of the Brave.

Home of the Brave, located near Berlin, Md., provides a quiet, relaxing country retreat where veterans can reconnect with their families after returning home from combat military service.

"Each holiday season, our staff supports a local non-profit organization through individual contributions. Their generosity and compassion for others is inspiring," said Dr. Joseph Cinderella. "I'm pleased to present this gift of $800 on their behalf to support the good work of the Home of the Brave."

 "I'm deeply touched by the thoughtfulness of the folks at Delmarva Heart," said Tina Pearson, founder and owner of Home of the Brave, said. "This was a complete surprise. What a wonderful Christmas gift. It will go a long way to enable America's combat veterans and their families to spend quality time together and reconnect.
