Americans' Increased Appetite For Restaurant Gift Cards

WMDT 47 NEWS - If the rush at retail stores isn't for you, why not opt for a gift card instead.

According to the National Restaurant Association, about 32 percent of consumers receive one over the holiday season. More recently, experts say America has a growing appetite for restaurant gift cards. It allows the recipient to enjoy a nice dinner without worrying about picking up the tab.
