Another Structure Fire In Accomack

Posted: Updated:

ACCOMACK CO., Va. - Virginia State Police are investigating another structure fire in Accomack County.

On Friday, December 7, 2012 around 10:09 p.m., the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Intelligence was called to an abandoned structural fire at the 26000 block of Redwood Road.  A fire scene has yet to be conducted so, it is too early in the investigation to determine whether or not this is related to prior arson cases that are currently being investigated.

The first arson was reported on November 12, 2012, and since, there have been 24 reported intentionally set fires in Accomack County.  Police say all structures were either abandoned or unoccupied at the time, and no injuries have been reported.
