DOVER, Del. -- Members of the military in the First State can now head to a the park all year long. Following the passage of House Bill 235, DNREC's Division of Parks and Recreation has introduced a new annual pass for members of the military.
All you need is proper documentation of service. The new pass will grant members of the military admission to Delaware State Parks that charge an admission fee without having to pay each time they visit.
The pass costs $13.50 annually and is on sale now. The pass may be purchased at any state park office or from the central office in Dover at 89 Kings Highway or at the Outdoor Recreation Center, building 275 at the Dover Air Force Base.
